With a background in television news, having anchored for Sky and produced / reported for other global networks including CNN, Bloomberg and CNBC, Sasha is a seasoned presenter and interviewer. Handling live breaking news events means it’s hard to be fazed when things don’t go according to plan on stage.
Sasha is a frequent moderator of panel and roundtable discussions, emcees international events and likes nothing more than sitting down for one-on-one interviews where she can dig deeper into what makes people tick. Recent business interviews include AI expert Mo Gawdat, former NBA champion turned climate entrepreneur Rick Fox and the former UK Chancellor, Lord Philip Hammond.
Sasha works across a wide spectrum of industries, emceeing events on tech, sustainability, cybersecurity and fintech. She’s well versed in the skill of moderating roundtables and has facilitated many conversations on digital disruption and transformation, frequently interviewing senior leaders from HPE, IBM and Microsoft amongst others. Before her TV life, she started her career in investment banking, and has retained an avid interest in business and finance, frequently working with financial institutions, including Lloyds Bank and the Treasury.
Recent events include chairing the Innovate Finance Global Summit 2024, emceeing the Global Leaders Innovation Stage at London Tech Week 2023, and Leap 2024 where she was one of the main stage moderators.
Sasha also spent several years as a Senior Programming Director at Bloomberg Live, where she both curated and moderated editorial events, ranging from flagship equality summits to broader business and technology events.
Sasha studied Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge University and spent her gap year studying at The Sorbonne and enjoying French food.
